A founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in the summer of 1966, John McEuen brings his unique musical talents to the Hayes Center for a solo concert.


His diverse skills on banjo, fiddle, guitar and mandolin have led reviewers and fans to call John 'The String Wizard.'



John is still touring with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, (over 40 years!) and he also takes his talents around the country in his solo shows and special concerts when the Dirt Band is not performing.



Solo shows have featured surprise special celebrity guests such as John Sebastian, Kevin Nealon, Matt Cartsonis, Vassar Clements, and occasionally John's very talented sons Jonathan McEuen (of Hanna-McEuen) and Nathan McEuen.
